I'm working on new boxart, German Cossack figure in 1/35, sculpted by very talented Russian artist Dmitry Shevzov. This figure is a part of new Cossacks set, upcoming release from Mantis Miniatures. Available very soon.

How did You do the black? With blue, grey or violet for lightening?

(To me the the difficult colours red and black stand even before...)

Martin: it is simple mix of lamp black and titanium white with a little bit of orange (just for brake the tone) on the dark gray base coat.
