Hello again friends,
I left aside for a while the big Gettysburg diorama until I collect the necessary equipment for all these soldiers and I start building this 75mm figure which represents the legendary King Pyrros of Epeirοs (cousin of Alexander the Great).
The excellent head is from Scale75.

Got to ask Christos ,where did you get the human body proportion graph

Ron, the graph is inside Mike Blank's monograph "Sculpting & Body Language" from EuroModellismo magazine, I copy it and lamination it.

Ken, I am using several pictures mostly from the hellenistic period (Osprey books, wargaming books, real statues etc.).
From that particular king we have only one bust from his era (see photo below) but a lot of info about his equipment, weapons and colors from historians.

The pose is ready, now it's time for dressing the anatomic, boots and clothing...

some wrinkles on the cloth and the beginning of the helmet...

the muscle quirass is done, moving on...

Christos excellent sculpting and you make it look so easy. Can I ask what materials you're using.

Ken, I am using 3 kind of putties for different elements on the figure, Magic Sculp, A+B and Green Stuff (Duro), you can see each of them from the unique color each one have. I also do not use Duro without mixing it with Magic Sculp or A+B.

I add a griffin on the chest armor and started to decorate the helmet...
