I have this same figure back at home, waiting to be built/painted and my only criticism of the Diemaco is the Eotech is Grossly underscaled, and will scratchbuild one when I get down to painting mine.
It's also worth mentioning that seams etc on this scale of figure are more relative, as in not a single wrapped pattern, but made up of many diffferent parts for both the blouse/smock and trousers
Still a good effort mate (y)

Hey Marc, I like what did with him, face and eyes especially good, I like the camo too, the only thing I would maybe do is to give it a dusting with mig Iraqi sand pigment to fade the camo a little an add some more interest to the piece, the othe thing I noticed was the petzl head light around his neck, the lens should be red or White to represent a red or White light. Tuff luck on the helmet, but if you hadn't of done such a good job sanding off the NVG mounting strap on the helmet you would have noticed it I'm sure!!(y)

    Cheers

I think i gonna give the lens a red light....(didn't know it was a light). The helmet is gonna be changed thanks to the good service of Maurice Corry (Moz). And yes, the NVG mounting is got to go, because it was just a marine without a rank. And all the pictures i've seen from the soldiers where all MICH helmets without a mount.
But all good advices are still welcome. He must be finished for februari.

    Thanks Peter,
Well, it cost me indeed a sleepless night. It was over when Maurice offered me a new one.
The second sleepless night was to think how i could remove the helmet without damaging the face.

    Dank je Rob,
Wanda's son has his birthday in februari. Then she give it to him. I'm waiting for a new helmet.

Marc, just a thought, if your face has a coat of varnish you could use masking fluid to protect it, Vallejo and humbrol do good ones!
Best of luck with the surgery

    Cheers

    Pete
