Continuing on from my previous post i have just finished this nice bust from MIG productions,i purchased it some time ago but having completed the 4x Young Busts i thought i would add this in as well.
The bust is very nicely produced in resin and was a real joy to paint.

The bust replicates a Tank commander Possibly Tiger or Panther and portrays the bust wearing the U-boat type leather jacket which was evident in the normandy and ardenne offensive.

According to the shoulder insignia this bust is based on a member of the LSAH,prior to the Ardenne offensive this unit was re-designated PzAbt 501,as with the previous ardenne post some light weathering was achieved to show light frosting of snow, the headphone wires were made with fuse wire.

A very nice bust and highly recommended for those interested in WW2 german subjects.
All coments and critisism most welcome, thanks for taking the time to look.

    Happy Painting - Brian :)

Fabulous, Brian. Like the previous busts, the paint job and little snowflakes on the figure, make your work super realistic .There´s cold in the atmosphere. Cigarette also is fine but lacks the smoke. (It's a joke)

really good work on all your busts like the frosted effect, only thing I would say is the piping looks more purple than pink.

GREAT ME AULD ! I like your battle weary european winter effect, got this one completed in April, just haven't got round to pics mainly because I am going to have to set it up properly to get the right effect - I got 1st in the Busts cat at
our recent IPMS nats in Cape Town with it, it's a very nice MIG bust and simple.
    Well done.:D

    Great stuff Brian...

the contrast in the face is great! My only nitpick would be the thickness of the wires. The look a bit on the bulky side to me but in any event it is a fine fine job! Congrats!
