Hi my friends,
this is my first bust that i have painted for the first time with oil painting...
It is a crusader bust sculpted by Victor Konnov for Pegaso Models.
I have never painted busts before this crusader who has really bewitched me. I have bought it at Calenzano Show this year and today i show you some photos of my WIP.
Sorry but I'm not a good photographer.
I hope you like it. Any comments are appreciated.
The base has been created by my friend Franco Serra (Aka Il basetta).

Very good work.
I'm pleased that you paint in oils. I'm also a oilpainter and we becoming "strange" painters.
But i really love the smell off oilpaint in the evening.

Thanks for the comment Windtalker, I have painted the crusader first with acrylic white and then with oil. But it is a difficult color to use...
