    Hello my friend Lucas
Yes indeed your painting in general is amazing on all points!
Yes, such an effort on your part will give us some explanations on how a person painters.
Well certainly uses acrylic and oils on the basis of the shadows, but the color put less stuff and how?
Perhaps an example step by step would help us maybe more if there is any photo.
    Thanks!

How much planning goes into the flesh tones? For example: the viking he has a more untanned and ruddy tone.

What parts of the head do you find most difficult ?

    hello and thank you ...
The hardest part is the eyes, if you mess up the look of esoressione, you're screwed.
If you look OBSERVE the face of a man, you will see many nuances of color, red, green, blue gray. we have daily examples of palettes, watching people live or on TV, and best of the paintings of the great painters of the past who put reality on canvas.
Personally I watch a lot of the images of the paintings, and I serve as an example ... here's some image

What a feast for my pop-any-second eyes.

It is gentle, warm tones like this that keep me going in the hobby. This is what masters are for. They aspire.

    Luca,
Far in the past you have send me samples of your paint mixes. I lost them.
So maybe it is the time (hopefully you find the time) to do a SBS of your facepainting with all the mixes etc.
