Happy new year to everyone on the Planet!
I want to show you my latest work. It is a bust of Ambiorix from Yedharo models. The kit comes with a pair of 'wings' for the sides of the helmet wich looked way to fantasy and i chose to go with a plain helmet. I also added the shield from another bust i will never paint and that s it. The rest was done with acrylics. printers inks and oils. Hope you like it. Feel free to criticize.

I love the flesh color under the eyes and sides of the nose. the effect on the cape is really a nice touch and the metals are really great. Excellent work sir!

First piece is incredible, incredible person has a detailed and generally a bit creations (the joy of the modelers).
Now for the painting I think words are unnecessary relocate your success.

Geez, your flesh tones are so realistic, the subtle colour changes are superb, top job. Is the helmet this battle scarred in the kit or did you add some more?

Very nice paintjob, Dimitrios! Allways wanted to paint this one day, because he's a local figure here in Belgium. The town Tongeren is about 20 miles from my town, and they have an impressive big statue of him on the town square,

Ben the helmet is hevily worn in the kit.
Chris my friend i googled for a nice motif but couldn t find the page we saw on friday.
Eddy this is an amazing statue. Wish a sculptor saw it and make a miniature interpretation of it.

The flesh is particularly nice this time; maybe even more subtle colour variety? Or just even more smoothness of transitions. Anyway: a joy to look at and study!
