    Hi Guys ,
This is also on the bench , it is of course Bugle Calls show model from again the hands of Rob Lane , and has been modified by my mate Jimbo to include the sash and the rank on the arms (thanks mate) of a Colour Sgt from the Grenadier Gds .

Just primed and base coated in GW Acrylics at present ......

    Hi Pedro,
I am looking forward to having this one in front of me , in particular the challenge of the lace work on the collar and of course the rank badges .

If you want to get one then El Greco Miniatures are the supplier , they have an excellent customer service .

Hope to see your version on PF

    Hi Guys ,
Latest pictures of the Crimean NCO that I have been working on , managed to do the sash , and belts , but will put additinal highs on these , also finished the bearskin (washes of brown and blues )with the plume starting with German grey and working up to the highs of Titanium White .

Also did the whiskers and made a start on the cheverons , using NMM (thank you Mark you are my inspiration!!!![IMG]) still loads to do of course (chin scales , collar, belt plate, epaulettes) but I am getting there ....I think [IMG]

...Oh and then there is the back pack with a Royal Cypher on it.

As always all comments etc are very welcome

    Crimean SNCO -Update

    Hi Guys ,
A quick post before I start again on the cheverons etc , the first is still WIP , the second needs the intertwined and reversed VR cypher put on the flag !!!!

Question : Wht are your views on putting satin varnish on the NMM or should I just highlight to produce further effects

    All thoughts are very welcome

    Hi Guys ,
Thankfully our phone line is back afyer 5 days of annoyance !!! so here are a couple of updated pictures on the NMM on the epaulettes etc .

Since taking these I have worked on the collar NMM lacework , will post pics at a later stage (once I have done the grenades !!!)

Planning on putting a bit more shading on the cresents as these were brass with possibly putting satin varnish on the rest of the NMM ...what everyones thoughts on this ?

    All comments welcome

As always Kev, your attention to detail is first rate. I love the Grenadier Guards cypher on the cross belts and also the detail in the collar. The painting on the epaulettes is superb. I also admire the way you paint your reds.
I am bowing as I speak. Lovely work mate.
