Hehehe. I like it! Especially victory markings on the inside of the shield!
This one is better then Maximus and Spartacus combine.

I'm going to try very hard to resist this one, even if incorrect it's the most exiting looking gladiator for ages.

Excellent piece in anatomy and pose :)

This one kind of reminds me of the White Models kit in 90mm(?). Like it though.

I would not know if it's accurate or not. The sculpting is great. You can feel the weight of the armor on this guy. ~Gary

Just from taking a quick look:

The belt is not like any gladiator's belt ever shown in Roman iconography,
The greave on the left leg is of the wrong type,
The right leg is bandaged up too much,
    The sword is too long,
The shield boss is far too big and ornate,
No gladiator wore a leopard skin in the arena,
    Gladiators did not wear sandals.

All of the commercially available gladiator figures I've seen have incorrect equipment. The best of the bunch so far, but still no cigar, has been the standing Mirmillo recently released by Pegaso.

well an fine rendition of gladiator is the pegaso COMMODUS.this may not correct but its an handsome figure from it artistic flair.looks fine.the addition of pelts during the Munera the opening session of the gladiatur may be possible.but surely not during fight.one would to easy get entangled with shield weapon ect in the hanging pelt.Commodus could afford this because he did not fight in an fair competion.he more slew his opponents from an above position created by wooden runways over the arena itself.
the greave is much to bulky and to wide at the top one would get hindered with guiding the shield immediatly.
the killmarks at the back of the shield are surely artistic license.-in short we still wait for an correct one.Commodus might be at moment the best so far.but well this one is at least an handsome figure.
i would buy this because of its nice rendering
    like it neverless
    cheers
