Hi all, this is my first post on PF (hope this post works). this being Model Cellar's Royal Fusilier. I have changed the head position slightly so the fig looks slightly to the left as if something has caught his eye, I remodelled the balaclava with magic sculpt to aid the different pose of the head. also I remade the kit pouches with same putty.The main bulk of the figure is primed in humbrol black, face painted in oils.This is not my first fig/bust, but as an Armour modeller mainly I have recently got more into figures thanks to friends in my local model club who feature here on PF frequently and they are a great source of inspiration. cheers Les.

I think you've done a wonderful job on this incredible Carl Reid bust. The subtle repositioning of the head has given a new look and feel to the bust. Is this a WIP or have you finished painting? Just wondering because I would expect the fingers to be a bit more flesh coloured??

Like others great to see you posting your work here mate!
This little chap has made a good start, maybe a couple of thoughts for you to consider? Perhaps a few touches of red around the extremities e.g. tip of nose, top of cheeks to show he is warming up or alternatively a little lighter tone with small amount of blue to indicate cold skin.

You may also want to try some tiny catch lights in the corner of each eye to make them sparkle & reduce the size of pupil.

Neither of the tips above should take anything away from what you've done so far, really coming along & can't wait to one day catching up & see this one in the flesh as like you I love the bust Carl has created here.
