Sorry, but doesn't look the part for me. Clean sculpting, but wrong clothing style. Looks rather like around 1770 than 1720. Compare the figure to the contemporary painting. The justaucorps and the waistcoat are much too short. Also, the tricorne does not look quite right.

But noone will ever bother here.

    Hi Andreas,

Thanks for your comments as I suspect many of us could not tell the difference between 1770 and 1720 styles.

I do not see a real issue with the Tricorn, maybe on one of the WIP shots it appears off, but that is before the frills are added?

Looking at the contemporary painting, the coat does seem a little short, it should go a little below knees than even or above as it appears on the figure.

However I see this as a relatively minor issue. Overall the figure is very nice, and I find it attractive enough to obtain one even though its not my normal period of interest (and afterall isn't that the point!).

Tried to order this but the website is not very clear-I'm sure it will sell well most of the other figures seem to be sold out.
If anyone has the napoleonic figure for sale could they PM me?
    Thanks
