Whoa, Nellie. . . And Hi Wendy

    Wendy:

I'm relative new to this site. . . meaning I do not recall seeing much of your
work. So I looked at your really clever trio with a lot of interest. For one
thing, from looking at your subject matter, I would guess that you have
a good sense of humor, and pehaps do, indeed, enjoy laughing! Both Mike
Meehan and I know that when we laugh a lot, those wonderful endorphines
do course thru our bodddd deeeees quite rapidly; helping to give us a shot
of Joie de Vivre !!! Well ;);) ah . . . at least I read that somewheres!

I really love your colour palette. You seen to really understand the benefits
of colour harmony and composition. The colour choices in the Young lady
golfer, . . . (or Cow Pasture Pool, as we call it here in beautiful Downtown
Overland Park, . . . that's KANSAS USA, Wendy!) are just delighful, and so
fitting for the subject matter. I love the Cow fisher. . . person. And how you
were able to create the icy water down the corner edges of the base was
not only very clever, but so well done. IMHO, Lots of skill as a figure
painter displayed in that one little part of your second photo.

Well, how I go on and on. But I have a passion for art, and the model
building/figure painting aspect of the field. And to me, life should be lived
with passion. It has so much to offer to those who will be open!! Hey but,
ahma' preachin' to the choir, here, hummmmmmmm?

    Well done,

    The Miami Jayhawk

Very well done on all 3. It's refreshing to see something other than Crusadingnapoleonicromanpanzerschrecks from time to time. Although, a well painted Crusadingnapoleonicromanpanzerschreck is always inspirational to me, as well.

As for the gentleman standing by the cattails, how did you get the water to stay in place while you poured?

Refreshingly different, beautifully executed. They brought a smile to my face.
I would like to see more of the chap and the crocodile, maybe at a different angle.
Well done and thank you for sharing.

Thanks Mike! It's fun to do something different sometimes...though it seems to be more often for me. :D

To keep the resin in, I made a box out of plastic card. I'm writing an article for The Basement Webzine with all the details on how I did my water effects. :)
