    Hello,
As some of you know I have done some sculpts for my own production (for my mark that is simply called Roberto Chaudon) besides working for other marks like Pegaso Models. I have a new sculpt, a Viking Bust of the X century. Modeled with Magic Sculpt. There will be copies in resin soon. If you are interested you can contact me by PM or in my web site for more details: http://robertochaudonblog.blogspot.com/
Here you can see photos of the master.
    Thanks
    Roberto

    Hi Roberto,

A lovely piece of work which will definately be going into the grey army

Some lovely work on this Roberto. But similar question to the one I asked Carl here, is the shield that thick to aid in casting? In the side view it looks to be about 2cm in scale thickness, from surviving examples the average edge thickness is maybe 8mm but might be as little as 4mm!

Someone else mentions diameter in the other thread and the typical range is 80-90cm, which could equate with a full head width beyond each shoulder.

    Tommi: thanks to you!

    Tecumsea: that's good news

Einion: I think that the sculptors in general adapt the historical themes to the artistic/production lenguage into the acceptable parameters in function to the information that has up to now ;)

Thanks to you for your kind words!
