Here is a figure I have been working for the past month - it is a British Infantryman, Afghanistan, 120mm - a near future release for The Imperial Gallery. I haven't painted a figure for a while and usually it takes me as long to paint a figure as it does to sculpt it!

I hope to post the painted figure shortly.

Nice bit of sculpting Rob and good to see some modern Brits coming onto the market.

Wow Bob, that's a beautifully sculpted figure. Could you provide any details about what unit this soldier is with and where he's serving? Presumably Afghanistan????

    It's a cracker mate.

Thanks everyone for your very generous comments.Tony, the figure could be Iraq or Afghanistan, and depicts a generic British soldier, no particular regiment. Again many thanks,

    Rob.

Could always try to paint the new Multi-Terrain Pattern camo that the MoD is releasing for the troopers in Afghanistan. I am also looking forward to the release.
