Nice work Ulrich. Is the tunic going to be feldgrau or dunkelblau? Either would be correct for early war Landwehr. I know what I would choose but I won't say anything yet until you decide:p

Hi Ulrich nice piece and nice subject.
I have surfed on this during a search and I would like to use this source for a piece, but I'm in trouble with the uniform details, greatcoat and coat collars. Can anyone help me to identify colors and markings?

    Thank you

    Hi Ricky

If I know exactly what you wanted to know I think that I can help. I have enough books and other sources about the german army at that time

Ulrich, Thank you for fast reply,
I have no idea of what color are the waffenrocks/shoulder strap. I can see some details in your pictures, it seems to me that tunic should be field gray piped in red, but I don't see clearly the colors of tunic's collar

I have understood that this subject should be 11th Bavarian landwehr regiment part of the 4th Bavarian division, but i was not able to find details of the uniform
