    Hello fellow planeteers,

after a long pause I would like to show you some recent sculpt job of mine. Considering the lack of Napoleonic civilians I was thinking it would be nice to have some for those who like to collect figurines or build dioramas in the small scales.

The subject of the set is 'Evacuation of the Manor, 1813', but the figures are quite versatile and could be used in many settings of around the time 1800-1820. The servant maids can even be used for a much longer period of time (around 1770-1830 at least).

The figurines will be cast in white metal by Frank Germershaus and available from cw-toys as from December 5, 2009. They are in true 1/72nd scale, with men averaging 23,5 mm (= 1,70 m) and women 22,0 mm (= 1,60 m), which makes them compatible to most available figure lines in that scale.

    Hope you like them.

    How about 54mm???

These figures look very nice, especially for 1:72nd. It would be nice if they
were also available in 54mm. . . . Since there are so many Napoleonic
figures available in that scale. . . Diorama possibilities, I am thinking. . .

Andreas, excellent sculpting, all the figures have a natural pose and such variety. Great work.

    Andreas,
Unbelievable, how must you do it, stereo microscope, bionic eyes. There has to be some secret to the process. Certainly I could never contemplate-sober-attempting new figures in such a small scale, especially not now my eyes have aged and optivisors are a must in any scale smaller than 1:1.

    Thanks for showing.

Beatifun sculpts, very detailed for a scale so small, i think that they are better suited for on 1/32 ( 54 mm) smaller scales are more used on tabletop games than on dioramas.

    Great work man!

I like your figures in 1/72! Best details on a small diorama.

    Congrats!

    Teddies vs dolls

It's a doll. Teddies were introduced as playthings 100 years later only.
