    Enrico, congratulations. . .

Congratulations on a beautiful presentation. Just gorgeous photographs
of a skillfully painted figure. Your shading is so supurb. Lovely base and
groundwork as well. A real inspiration, . . . for me to keep trying.

on such a beautifully painted figure it;s ridiculous to focus on any particular aspect....but.....your painting of leather is fantastic. The boots are outstanding.

Fantastic Enrico. As others have said, the leather is superb. Oils or acrylics?

Beautiful work. Maybe the best version I have seen of this figure. Can you share your technique for painting the leather? Looks very realistic.

Sorry for my long silence and sorry for my english it's terrible but i try.
Every acrilic colors it's Vallejo and every oil color it's W&N
    1. Acrilic Base (background): Black+Tierra Mate (earth).
    2. With much dilution of tierra mate i apply without precision in the leather zone worn by use.
    3. For oil finishing i use the same tones, in this figure Raw Sienna and Raw Umber shaded with a clean brush.
    4. For last detail Mars Black in the maximun shade area and Naples Yellow for the light. This passage the oil colors are dilute whit essence of turpentine.
I hope you show the s-b-s's pictures soon.

    Ciao.
