Nocturna Models El Juglar

This beautiful figure comes packed in a transparent box with a small piece of bubble wrap separating the parts and a card with some artwork. I was a little concerned because the packing was a little sub standard in my view but all the parts seemed to be intact.



Here we can see the excellent quality of the casting with a close up of the face. There is very minimal cleanup of the main torso, there is a small mould line that runs down the back of the right leg which needs a minimal amount of sanding to remove, apart from that the torso is clean.






The right arm and the left leg come as separate pieces and again a good level of detail is shown, there is no cleanup other than removing the parts from the spru.



We can see the dry fit of the bottom part of the left leg, fit is exact and no evidence of any filler is needed.



The left hand that holds the instrument is also a good fit to the upper part arm and shows the same level of detail as the other parts. It will be interesting to see if anyone manages to fit strings to this!



The base comes in two parts, the base and wall section which locates into the base using two locator plugs.



The figure shown here fully assembled, great pose and subject, another one of the ever growing range from Nocturna. Minimal cleanup and good fitting of all parts, just wish the packing was a little better. Defiantly a recommended buy.
