Japanese WW2 Pilot 1/48th scale

    I found this one to be a real challenge both to paint and to photograph. It is my 10th figure and this is what I really want to do (historical figures) so now is the time to try and up my game - I hope this is where you guys can help

    Uniform is good, over all.
    You may need to change the shades a bit between the flotation vest and the rest of his uniform, as there is not quite enough contrast to distinguish the two.

    Skin tones look Asian, you'll get better with practice.

    Every now and then, look at the figure your painting in a mirror (I keep a shaving mirror on my work bench). That is often enough, by seeing the figure 'reversed', to help spot what to do, what to tweak, and what to leave alone.

    Very good for this scale!
