Golani is IDF infantry brigade that took part in Cast Lead operation in Gaza Strip. It is one of the best and most famous IDF units.
This bust is in 1:9 scale. I used an Apoxie Sculpt for it and the head is of Cernit Doll Collection media.

    Congratulations Vlad!

Very nice pose and caracter. What is the task of this mesh on the helm? I allways see it in the TV news, but I don't know why this soldiers (street fighters) need it?

    Cheers,

    Very nice sculpture,

overall is cool looking nice kit. Looking forward to see these bust painted.

@Balázs - It´s a common helmet accessory in the IDF. It´s called the "Mit'znefet" ("Clown Hat" in Hebrew), a camouflage net which is placed above the helmet in order to distort the helmet's typical rounded shape. The Mit'znefet is fully reversible - one side has woodland pattern and the other a desert pattern.

    Greetings

Hi Vlad , really delighted to see this bust as well as the other two that you have done. Great detail :)

Can you tell me , are these just for yourself or do you have plans to sell them commercially?

I have a friend who would be very interested in buying them if they are going into production in the future :)

Great work and hope you keep posting WIP pix :)

To tell the truth - I have no idea... I can't cast and sell them by myself. If anybody wants to to produce this items commercialy - he is welcome.
