    Tommi,

Thanks for all the kind compliments regarding the Major. The acrylics are still giving me fits regarding the transitions but I am determined to get there.
Nothing like the fast drying time but I love blending with oils.
I am taking a few days off thanks to the Yanks and Brits for the 4th and I will be gluing, sanding, puttying, filing and painting my A*S off for the next few days!
I started the poll to make sure that I am not the only figure happy person on the Planet...no pun intended!

Right now I have 6 in progress. 3 single foot, 2 busts and a 90mm mounted figure. I usually have a few more and like Tommi I don't have to wait for drying time I just pick up another figure and continue painting.

Currently have a 120mm Roll Call mounted 17th Lancer, 120mm Verlinden 17th Lancer (going to make a vignette) ,Seil's 75mm Macromanic Warrior and still doing touch ups on Naked Army's RAR guy.........when this lots cleaned up I'm going to do repair jobs on about 20 already finished figures.

On top of this I also have in progress a 1/35th diorama with a Stuart tank, 1/600 Titanic, 1/300 HMS Aurora, Airfix's Golden Hind, Star Wars Speeder Bike, 1/350 HMS Hood diorama, Timber Endeavor and a Timber fishing boat..... not much more room on my desk anymore

At the moment i just have one. Finished a figure last evening. The one i'm on at the moment is nearly finished.
Most at the time i have two figures where i'm working on because oils don't dry so fast.
Because hollidays are almost there i think i gonna start no other untill i'm back from hollidays.

One at a time for for me. Currently Dan's 1930's USMC BAR gunner in China.
The farthest I'll go on another figure is construction and priming before the current one is finished.

    I'm totally out of control,

I have at least seven figures on the go at the moment, plus a bust I'm sculpting.

I used to be very disciplined and only start a new figure when I'd finished the one I was working on, but then something went very, very wrong.

Now I'm modelling like a madman. Some are new figures, some are old figures that I'm repainting and some are "Grey Army" kits that have been sitting patiently in boxes for years screaming for attention.

    Cheers

No more than three. I'm finally finishing a roman. He was standing there 'cause I couldn't get my reds proper. So when he's finished it'll be two max.

    Who are we kidding here.

We don't choose which figures to do where and when, they choose the circumstances!

    How Zen is that!

I did not vote because my current project will skew your totals. I have one dozen figures on my workbench at the moment; four animals (do they count as "figures"?) and eight humans, one of whom is the Baby Jesus. I am painting a nativity set for my grandson.

I don't know how many, but most are minis, so they shouldn't count the same. :D I do have a lot going though between war gaming minis, minis I just want to paint, painting larger scale (err, 54mm) and WIP sculpts. Yeah, I'm a better starter than finisher.

    Nice Poll.
At the moment I have Masterclass Teutonic cavalryman, Young Min. knight 14th c., Anders Heintz' Trailboss, a 'Nam DML figure for a small vignette, the light infatryman of the battle of poitiers, Latorres 78th Highlanders Bust and the 54mm General Torrjos, one sculpted 70mm mafia figure and one 1/35 tank on the workbench.

Happy to see that I am not alone in my madness. Today I will be working on the Majors transitions and start another bust and begin the the tedious process of a 90mm mounted figure. Four days to paint with no interruptions!

I am still in the finish one class before the start of another. Or maybe the first will not get finished because I have forgotten the paints that I used.
Its called getting old or memory slip?
It also lets me clean up the 3 inch work space before the next one.:D
