Very nice mate. What was the quality like on this one? I have been asked to do it for a collector and am a bit reluctant due to quality issues and andrea. Cheers Hardy

    Stephen,

I really like what you've done with this figure. You have employed a painting style that I would like to try someday. I really like the clear definition of highlight and shadows.

Everything on the figure shows great detail because of your painting style. Very nice!

The only thing I noticed that looks a little out of place is on the close-up of his face. In that picture, it appears his right pupil (on our left) bleeds out a little bit onto the lower eyelid. It may be a trick of photography.

Thank you for showing us your beautiful work. I enjoy it very much.

Beautiful work, Stephen! The breastplate looks particularly nice - is it painted or did you polish the bare metal?

Excellent paintwork, great blues and reds and let's not forget the beautiful face.

Hey Hardy, thanks. I have to say that mine wasn't that bad. There are some fit issues especially with the gladius. You also have to check the sit of the cape. Mould lines a bit heavy in some areas but other than that I can't complain.

John thanks. I know what you mean but it's not paint. The lower eyelid is not exactly perfect. If you notice the left eye(our right) is a bit smaller too. You can't correct these with paint !!

Jason thanks.I tackled the breastplate in my usual manner when it comes to metal figures. There's a tutorial on my approach on www.elgrecominiatures.co.uk if you want to have a look.
