Dear colleagues, friends, collectors, and historical-miniature enthusiasts,
We take great pleasure in introducing a new miniatures studio: AuthorSculpt.
As you are aware, the Seil company, whose miniatures you've enjoyed for many years, has closed its doors. We, the sculptors who made their master-models, have decided to pursue the production of new figures under a different banner.
AuthorSculpt intends to continue the tradition of Seil models and will release beautiful new miniatures every month for your enjoyment. We present the first of these to you today.

The miniatures sculpted by Yuri Serebriakov, Sergei Lupanov and Sergei Zlobov depict, as you know, a wide range of historical subjects. These subjects are not picked by a client but carefully chosen by each sculptor based on his personal taste and preferences.

The box in which they are packaged — designed to imitate the leather binding of an old book — is not only attractive but very strong, ensuring that your miniature is perfectly protected during shipping. All miniatures are made from resin. Many figures are planned to be done 1/24 scale or 75 mm, but also in other sizes ranging from 40 mm to 120 mm, busts.
Our first figure, sculpted by Sergei Zlobov, will become our studio's logo. This 54 mm mounted medieval Russian warrior (C14 Battle of Kulikovo battle) comprises 17 pieces.

Sergei Zlobov also presents his next miniature, available from July 2008: a mounted figure constructor in 75 mm. The kit contains 10 pieces that any modeller can use to create his own mounted miniature.
His third figure is a mounted Russian nobleman that can be assembled in few different ways.

Sergei Lupanov, who has a passion and deep interest in camel troops, has sculpted several 75 mm miniatures depicting warriors from Antiquity, the Middle Ages and the Napoleonic wars. These rare-subject miniatures are planned for release in July, September and October. His first figure can be seen on ModelsSculpt website.

New 75 mm foot miniatures covering Antiquity and the Middle Ages will be soon be presented by Yuri Serebriakov.

You can find all these figures and much more on the AuthorSculpt website! (http://www.authorsculpt.com/)

    Best regards,
Eugenu Bogomolny, Sergei Zlobov, Sergei Lupanov, Yuri Serebriakov.

    Congratulations Sergey.
Now, the creation and producing off these extremely sculpted figures will continue.
Any change that you gonna cast "old figures" from Seil (the mounted templar) out off your hands.

    Hi Marc

Are you on about the second 75mm mounted templar that was done with the rider leaning foward with the lance, if so this is the one I was waiting for to go with the first one that was released just before Seil closed down? It would make my day if this were to be released.

will the figure on the top-left be a mannequin? would be a good idea for sculptors who want to make a horseman.
