Tracking Geronimo:

I have finally finished my diorama, "Tracking Geronimo."

Most of the figures are conversions - but I drew most heavily from the Italeri Civil War Cavalry sets. I also used the Revell Indians and Italari Civil War Infantry sets for the scout figure. They were painted with Adrea and Games Workshop acrylics. I've also added scarves, hair, etc. with AB putty.

Experts in this subject matter, feel free to chime in on accuracy, details, etc.

    Hope you enjoy!

    Best,

Cool! Well done John. I just wish we could get a real grasp on the scale of these things. Pictures just don't allow the true sense of scale. Especially when you're this close to those tiny figs!

Thank you sir! I'll try to put a quarter or a euro (for scale) in the scene the next time I bust out the camera,

Very nice work. I like the way you captured the feel of the southwest inthe groundwork.

    embroïdery

I recognize these figures and they are pretty small (1:72)
Just one comment; the embroïdery on the officers sleeve should be removed. The figure was meant to be a southern officer from the civil war. This one is post civil war and didn't had that anymore. (just one tiny detail)
Great painting on that scale though
  8. Cool mini vignette ... working in 1/72 and getting all that detail is damn hard ... well done!

Thanks to all for the kind words.

The figures are 1/72 plastic kits from Italeri and Revell.

    Best!
