Superb bust! I like the haughty expression on the face and the jaunty angle of the cap! Two small quibbles - the cigarette doesn't look realistic and there appears to be a smudge or accidental impression on one sleeve of the coat.

    All the best,
    Dan

Good eye Dan. The cigarette does look a bit thin to me as well. The leather textures on the coat are outstanding! Nice arrogant expression as well!

Nice bust! Love the face!!! :)

I do have a few comments though.
The hat seems to be just placed on top of
the head, and not pushed down around the
head securely... but it can be a matter of taste.
Also the the traps of the binoculars seems
quite wide. As others pointed out, the knights
cross at the neck is very small. Correct me
if I'm wrong, but knights cross is actually
slightly larger than the iron cross.

    Hola,

I do agree that the cap is perched in too much precarious an angle. This could be still corrected.

The Knight's Cross, indeed, is larger than the 1st or 2nd class Iron Crosses.

Just as a commentary, at the same time, the Knight's Cross is smaller than the Grand Cross of the Iron Cross - in III Reich times, only Hermann Göring wore this one, anyway... :)

This aside, the head has a lot of character, and the leathery texture is very well rendered. Just a little effort on the above details will make for a superb bust.

beautiful work. Lot of good things.
Anatomicaly speaking, his neck looks a little bit narrow..by my point of view.
    :)
