    Hello Fellow members!

Those of you who were in Folkestone, might have seen this project.
It's from my favourite movie of all time! Get ready to collect all those shells ;)

I have been wanting to do a scene from the ending of the film for quite a while.
I can't sculpt, so I converted this Yul Brynner figure from Andrea.

Project before painting. Pegaso head, Andrea hat, hands from Historex & Airfix multipose. Machine gun from Collector's Brass. Chairs Andrea & Historex.
Duro, Magic sculpt, lead foil, copper wire, plastic sheet etc.

Finished figure with slightly reworked backwall.

I enjoyed making this one because I love the movie!
Hopefully kitpic's bandwith does not run out yet...

    Hello Petri,

Congrats for a very well done 'action' scene from a classic movie. What's missing are the staccato noise of the machine gun and the smoke. ;)

Now how about the famous 'final walk' from the same film?

    Cheers,
    Quang :)

Damn! Just what I feared. My bandwith limit is full :( If you missed the pics, come back later...

Frank. Thanks for the words. I got commended for it.

Quang. "The Walk" scene is on the works...I have already gathered four figures to convert. Thanks for the discount you gave me on your Highlander & dog figure in Euromilitaire.

This is a really nice piece. Years ago (early to mid 70's), in an old issue of the now defunct American magazine, Military Modeler, there was a version of this scene done.

Great job, I really like the detail you put into this.

What a great idea and so well followed through on!!

This is just pure fun to look at and you have excellent detail which takes a while to look at to really absorb!

That is really neat. There are so many movie "moments" out there that would make excellent figures/vignettes.~Gary

    Wow! Very well done, Petri!

Love all the little details. The leather of his holster is especially nice.

Now I'll have to watch the WHOLE movie instead of bits and pieces.

Excellent subject and nice execution. I really like the falling chair, the breaking bottle and the falling brass casings, its like a stop action photo! Very Nice.
    God Bless

Many thanks for all the comments...

"Once upon a time in the west" is another favourite of mine.
There's a lot of scenes in that one that just peg to be modelled...
