    Hello,

some photos of my last project: the new bust from United Empire. Sculpted by Shane Tarry.
I really enjoyed painting these bust.
Don't be too harsh. It was my first attempt to pait a tartan.
    Hope you like it!

    Nice work Frank,
An unusual subject for a bust.
I like your painting of the metals, as for your tartan its a damn site better than my attempts at tartan.
I like the simple pattern and colour that it has been painted :)

    Frank,

That's some very fine, detailed painting on the tartan in particular. That took a good piece of time, I can tell! I also really like your metals.

    Really a smashing job....

    Frank,
very nice work! I think the tartan turned out quite nicely! As Johan replied to my first attempt at tratan, I to think you could have pushed the highlight and shadow on the cloak just a bit more, but over all a fantastic effort (maybe I'm a bit more "aware" of this now considering I finished mine not long ago!). The way you tucked the pattern in under the fold, toward the front on the left shoulder, is nicely executed. Your metals are also really nice!

I think that your tartan is not bad at all ! The lines are clear and the colours harmonically combined.
