    Hi Hardy

Realy great looking groundwork, for a man who doesn’t usually like doing much in the way of groundwork, it really looks wet, also the figure is up to your usual high standard...

    Great

    Hardy,

Yes, as your highstandard on all your figures. Extremely well don. I admire the white, so neat painted. Awesome. That bronze is from an other galaxie. I hope i can see him at Euro.
What have you done with the shield? I'm curious about that.
I agree with Dimitrios, tell us the secret off the matt oilpaint.

Thanks all. I dilute all my oil mixes with Daler and Rowney turpentine and undercoat with acrylics, I think this helps to matt them. I also use wet on dry techniques which can help to difuse a glossy coat.

I'm not sure how to repond. Simply saying "wow" or "well done" just doesn't seem to cover my reaction to your work. So let me say that as a result of seeing your figures, and trying to examine your technique, I have changed my approach to painting in a pretty significant way. I tried your technique for doing whites on Pegaso's Teutonic Grand Master, and as a result I medaled at a major show. The technique made my figure that much better than at any time before. You've developed an instantly recognizable style, and I hope to "borrow" liberally from it. As for this latest example, I would say that you will need to make room in your awards cabinet for some Euro Gold. Thanks for showing it here on the planet, and thanks for sharing your tips and techniques

    Hi Hardy,

As usual an outstanding painting. I think that you should write an article about your way of painting metal and clothes - they look like real ones.

Hardy your style is recognizable between thousand!! You are a personal style, it'is the sign of the great painters.!!!! I know that you painted with oil, even if I paint with the acrylic, can you say how you make your metals, that to me intrigues me for a long time. Thank you in advance
