    Hi Guys

Just thought I would show you my latest piece that I painted, its the Box Art for Roy Hunt miniatures 114th Pennsylvania Collis' Zouave Bust, this absolutely amazing, the detail is breathtaking, every part has been sculpted beautifully, with every detail. The skin texture was something else to try and paint. The bust comes with a separate head, that is sculpted with a goatie beard. Its now available from Roy on his web site....

If you get a chance to paint this one, do so. It was a real challenge, I hope you like it.....

    Hi Dave,
You already know I thought the bust is great. Why didn't you mention the other head for it?

    Dave.

Roy, Your 114th Pa Zouave turned out well. Who will be carrying it in the USA? Red Lancers, Sentienal Miniatures? I look forward to painting one as I am a fan of Zoauves. Great job by Dave on the paint job too! Hope you will consider during other zouave bust. There are several untis, regiments that have never been touched.

Well done once again to Dave for the excellent painting...I still have a real trial trying to take a decent photo though.

Thanks for all the great comments guys.

Jay, I will ship the first orders on Monday...

Thank you Terry, I haven't made any arrangements for anyone to carry my stuff yet..I will see Chuck at Euro. I know very little about Zouaves...but I'm willing to listen to any suggestions.. :)

Dave, Nice job painting the bust. The colors look just right. Roy has done a super job in bringing this kit to production. I especially applaud his efforts in researching the subject to insure that it be as accurate as possible.~Gary

Thanks for the reminder Dave....here's a pic of the alternative head...you could use one for developing your painting technique..or paint both and swap them with a little blu-tak when you fancy a change in your display cabinet.. ;)

I couldn't decide on which one to include, so you end up getting both....

Personally, I like the facial hair. I think it lends just a bit more attitude. It looks like there is a bit more side-burn to this one as well. Great show ol' fellow! I really like the idea of having a choice of two heads with this piece. Great value for a bust of this scale!

Nice work from the 'dream team'. Top stuff as always fellas. Really like this bust and your treatment of the fabric of the shirt is very convincing - look forward to seeing this in the flesh.
