I thought it would be interesting to share with each other our favorite time of the day for painting figures.

My favorite time is the morning, but unfortunately I can only paint in the Evenings due to work, the big culprit.

    Cheers

Has to be morning, although only at the weekends! The light comes directly in through the window by the table I work at!

When ever I can get a few minutes together.

Sat and Sun mornings before everyone gets up and week day evenings.

I paint almost every evening. I don't like watching tv. 40 channels and there is nothing on it. Painting and bluesmusic, or 70 and 80's music will help my mind to rest from the hard work that day.

So, my vote is for the evening.

I work all kinds of shifts, so it just depends when I can get the time/inclination I suppose. Not enough evidently.........

After years of only painting in the evenings and weekends it is a real blast to be able to paint at anytime now. I enjoy the evening best tho.......I guess out of habit.

In the morning is my favourite time to paint but I, like others have to do quite a bit in the evening due to work commitments. It is fine during the summer months because I get natural light at my desk but in the winter its not so good :(

I go for the evening. Mostly because it becomes calm here when the kids go to bed.
And with the ol lady upstairs watching tv its just me with my models(as I dont only do figures) and the radio.

Mornings preferably, but like the others, work and family commitments dictate that my painting be done in the evenings. Cheers !

My first thought was "Anytime SWMBO isn't home" ;) but since that isn't an option in the poll, I'll have to go with "Night"... after her highness has retired for the evening ;)

Late, often after midnight, so technically morning.

Oh the joy of shift work, I can get paintingin the afternoon although I probably paint more in the evenings or during the night if it's quiet in work (but don't tell my bosses)

I prefer late night and during weekends early in the afternoon.

However there is lack of time.

    Late evening through early morning - 10pm - 3am. Being a life-long night-owl, it's a nice way to unwind after the day.

Even though i get home from work early roughly between 12pm-1p. I find that i cann't start working until the evening starts. Don't why? its a mental thing i guess.

Ditto to exactly what Pat said...

A night owl and insomniac for oh so long...

I like the nights for the quiet and I usually get my second wind at work about 11 pm and last until 3am before I need a nap (don't necessarily get one)so, the same goes for my day off - about two days a week to paint or attempt to sculpt when nothing else is pressing to get done.
