Another figure I have had in the works is LaMeridiana Miniatures 54mm (actually 63mm) Seneca Scout. After seeing several versions with beadwork on every conceiveable area I decided to have mine in a more plain version with less decorative beadwork and depict this Seneca in a more "everyday" version. He is mounted on one of the last small S&T bases I have left.

Alot to do with the Seneca yet with progress on the rifle in the works as well as the powder horn and pouch.

Nice work Guy, I have the Rogers Ranger from this company and they are good little figures.

I like your tones on the shirt, its amazing how many paint these whites like brilliant laundry white, look forward to seeing this one finished.

Very nice Guy. The French Marine from this series is next on my bench. Has anyone done their piper yet?

    Hello Guy

Nice work so far, especially the white shirt. I have this figure on the bench at the moment and I've been debating how to render the white so it doesn't look too pristine. Yours looks tonally very subtle.

I like la Meridiana stuff - my only nit-pick is that they seem to be made in quite soft metal, which makes some of the finer detail a little fragile. Did you find that?

    Regards

Thanks for the feedback guys......I appreciate the kind words.

Phil ~ I see advantages to the soft metal, especially clean up in tough areas. When it is a lil softer, the clean-up and occasionally re-detailing is much easier than working with the hard metal castings. I also like their figure subjects and have a couple more on order.

    Guy,

This is very nicely painted. It is good to see a native american without the beadwork. You see these to much.
    I really like it.

Thanks for the feedback Kostos and Marc. I appreciate it.

I am almost done with the Seneca with only the remaining rifle tip to paint and do the groundwork foilage.
