    Hi all,

It took some more time then planned, but he's finnished at last. The figure is from Alpine with an Hornet head, 1/35th scale and casted in resin. The Jerrycan and spade are by Dragon. All is painted with acrylics, inks and Migpigments.

As always, I look forward to read your comments.

    Greetz,

    Gino

I like that Gino, I love to see figures that look as if they are actually out in the field.
You've done a great job in achieving this.

    Hello Gino,

I like the worn look of the white vest. You succeeded also very well in the rendition of the skintones. Hope to see this one in the flesh real soon!

Great painting Gino! I really like the face, and the coat is superb - I personally find white such a problematic colour - what colour mix did you use to shade it?

Well done on the whites. I like the white contrast between the cooler fleece on the cap and the warmer jacket. Nice.

Where did you use the mig pigments? How did you like using them?

    Hello guys,

Thanks for the nice comments, it really means a lot to me.

    Hi Keith,

I like to use Mig pigments a lot. On the jacket I used them dry, on the trousers I mixed it Satin varnish by Vallejoand for the groundwork I mixed it with Magic Sculp.

    Hello Edward,

I used Deck tan as base colour and Flat alumnium to highlight it (all Valejo colours unless noted). I then thinned some Turquoise alot (about 90-95% water)and applied it like the tank guys do with a filter. I did this to coolthe colour down. German camouflage black brown and pure black was used for the shading.

    Hello Markus,

Ramir Hereygers, president of AMSS, travels to Ingolstadt and he's so kind to take some models of clubmembers with him. So yes, some of my models will be there, and you guys are lucky, because you'll have the models without having to see my ugly face ;)

    Hoi Johan,

I will be able to bring him the meeting after the Ingolstadt show. This weekend they go to Torrent and next weekend Ingolstadt. I just wished I saw as much of Europe as my figures do.

    Hello Roger,

I don't like those "clean" soldiers on the battlefield either. I always try to find a mix between "dirty" but that you still are able to see the colour of the uniform.

    Best wishes,

    Gino
