Here's the latest. I have finished the head and the coat. All that's left is to add the buttons and detail the belt buckle. Then it will be ready for paint. I damaged the coat somewhat, like the original by Bill Horan.

Great figure, John. I like the action pose. The face reminds me a little of Chuck Norris. Hey, is that leg about to delinver a kick??

    John,

What I like about your work is the uniqueness of the face. This is a very distinct face - three-dimensional and realistic.

    Great work---

Swwwweeeettttt! And I agree - that face does look a little like wotsisname - Chuck! Seriously - a great figure in a superb pose. ;) How did you make that looking back over your shoulder thing work? Anytime I try something like that it looks like the neck is twisting off the body. :(

    All the best,
    Dan

Paint started going on Thursday. I have the face and hands done. Since it's basically one color, it's going fast. I should have some nearly complete IP photos soon.

I don't know what advice to give re: the looking over your shoulder pose. One thing that has helped me WRT necks in general is that they don't stick straight out of the top of the torso.
