    Yes Arthur,

I'm doing now the 75 mm from Stormtroopers i bought to Euro 2005. It is a Prussian Hussar off 1870. Great sculpting and great casting.
I've repainted the grey and im satisfied i think.
Further i been painting for the third time that Pegaso Candidatus Palice Guard. That @##@$ white colour.
Then i've build up Medal Sapuer du Genie Garde Imperial and is primed.
    So alot to do.

    Marc,
Candidatus is a truly supeb figure. What if you went with a red tunic or did they only wear whites?

    Arthur,

I just chosen this figure because it is white, with red trousers and leather shoes.
Bronz and golden details, such as helmet, cuirasses.
But all the leather and cloak are white.
I have read somewhere that the red is from the filmindustrie (hollywood). Because the first moviefilms where orthochromatic. If they used red colours they where dark. So the soldiers where good to see in the movie (almost black) when they wearing red.
That's why some people called the red roman clothing hollywood clothing.

An interesting fact about the red color. Does make sense too.
Does put in question historical accuracy of some of the figures out there :(

Marvelous painting, Arthur! Everytime I see your work I'm becoming more of a fan of it. You appear to thrive on difficult painting challenges!

    All the best,

    Dan,
Thank You for the very kind words :)
I was lucky so far, however there are a few projects that I was not able to complete and had to strip them,...incidentally they are both knights on horses :(
