I'm sculpting this figure in 1/35 to represent an NCO of the 28th Infantry division during the Battle of the Huertgen Forest
Hornet head, Historex hands,Verlinden holster and Academy boots (I think). I still have a lot of cleaning up to do and I think he might be too well built around the shoulders? Santa didn't bring me that Digital camera so the pics were taken with my old SLR and a close-up filter. I'm having a problem sanding in behind the arms so I may have to slice them off and re attach them after clean up.
Any thoughts? Critiques welcome

Very nicely done indeed! I have studied the battle for the Hurtgen forest extensively. While stationed overseas, I had the chance to walk the battle sight numerous times. I was also fortunate enough to acquire many relics from the battle. It's sad that the history books seldome reference this hard fought, bloody battle. I am looking forward to your progress on this figure! Again, fantastic job and I compliment your "bringing to light" this particular subject.
