That's magnificent. Is the lace painted in yellows or metallics?

That is one of the best horses I've ever seen.

It's about time you made it here mate. All you guys have to know that me and Ray have been begging Harold for ages to join in. I won't comment on the figure since I've seen enough of it having had the pleasure to carry it to St.Vincent with me and bringing home a well deserved bronze for it. On the other hand you're gonna get a mouthfull when I see you at the club for that crappy picture you posted. You have to do better than that !!

    Thanks all

I tried to improve the picture above a bit .Sorry but this is was my first attempt at posting a PICTURE.I will get some closes up soon.

As regards to the yellow lacing they ate compleately in acyrilics as I find I can get much more finer work especially finer lines with achrilics.

that's great...the bigger picture shows your work much better, and now we can all enjoy it.

It all looks great but I especially like the red, soft and very realistic for such a difficult colour. A great piece. Looking forward to more.

    All the very best

I agree with my brother Lou, the best horse I have ever seen...very nice!

I found that Airbrushing a coat of Vallejo Achrilics on top of the primer helps a lot to give you a smoother finish.I also use Achrilcs on top of oils for the finer detail work such as the viens and the white socks.Usally all my work is in Achrlics but nothing can beat the finish that can be achieved with oils on horses.
