    Welcome!

    Some other places...

    OR The Compleat Sculptor @http://www.sculpt.com/

OR Michigan Toy Soldiers @ http://www.michtoy.com/

OR Douglas & Surtees(?) Can't remember the last name, but a great art online materials site. http://www.artstuf.com/

OR Cheap Joes - Another great online art materials site and they also sell some putties. www.cheapjoes.com

IF you want to try Magic Sculp, another 2 part putty very easy to use and relatively cheap. http://www.magicsculp.com/

AND for tools - www.ehobbytools.com - Really good miniature tools, cheap, good quality.

    All the best,
    Dan :)

    Hi,

there could be a little bit of confusion here.

    Kneadatite:
Polymerics in the US is the maker of the Kneadatite range and Sylmasta is an European distributor. Licensee as well I think. Duro is an original name of Kneadatite blue/yellow when sold as plumbing putty by Loctite. Loctite changes suppliers and their current Duro is not well suited for sculpting miniatures. The name Duro is only used by Sylmasta for Kneadatite blue/yellow in Europe since that name is more familiar to some people. The case does state "original formula" though. Kneadatite is also known as green stuff (not to be confused with squadron's green putty).
Here is the Polymerics info page:
http://www.polymericsystems.com/kneadatite.htm It also has a link to suppliers.
As to the ribbon, starting next year the ribbon will not be officially part of the Polymerics stock. It will only be available in the new package which is rolls. Some stores have a special contract which makes they can still supply Ribbon. For the US this is Reaper miniatures: www.reapermini.com Another supplier is http://www.fortressfigures.com/

    A&B
Also a little confusing. The Sylmasta A&B is made by Sylmasta and I think it's only available through them. There is also another well known A&B sculpting putty in the US. I forgot who originally makes it but it's now made by Polymerics as well. Both putties are hard curing putties like Milliput. I wouldn't bother going after the Sylmasta stuff when you're in the US. Milliput, Magic sculp, Aves and the Polymerics A&B are examples of putties that can be used instead.

Here is a supplier who has both A&B and Kneadatite blue/yellow.

While you're there, have a look at the clay shapers. I love using those as sculpting tools.

Dear friend georges64 thank you very much for help me... how is the climate in France? A friendly temperature I hope...

Dear friend Dan Morto thank you very much for the sites... now I am researching the best price

Dear friend Ming-Hua I liked your explanation a lot !

In my country ( Brazil ) the materials to sculpt are terrible. I have to import the materials. I chose for Magic Sculp and Duro ( for small details ).
I would like to know the friends' opinion regarding my choice.
    All the best

Orlando, I've been made a trip to Berlin and Prague with two friends from Brazil, so here are two tips:
    - come during summer.
    - when you're here. It doesn't matter that weather looks good, always bring your coat and a sweater. You can leave it at the hotel if you don't need it, but don't leave it in another country like my friends did. :)
