German SS Ardennes 1944

    With ihs trouses where they painted in oil or arcylic. If they where painted in arcylic what was the colour

    My issues with your figure.
    This figure is based on one of the most discussed WWII German soldier photos.
    Here is the problem, the SS Grenadier is in fact wearing a WWII U.S. Rain Poncho and not an SS camouflage smock.
    This info is based on many months of research done by myself, John Rosengrant and Ron Volstad and still a few others.
    Keep up the good work.

    thank for that answer panzer. I guess I will just follow the colour given on the box. When you transllate the 303 colour it's equallent is reflexive green.

    Also, in another photo from the same series, it appears that the whole squad that the SS Grenadier was part of; is wearing U.S. G.I. captured equipment i.e; there is another a pic of this same Grenadier standing with two other Grenadiers( there appears to be a U.S. Greyhound on a rise in the background of the pic), and it is clearly visible that all three of them are wearing U.S. Rain Ponchos.

    As far as the figure is concerned; you did a very good job at painting and the ground work is very nice also.
