    Hi John,
I came across this steely eyed determined looking soldier thought it might be an inspiration
    for a new facial sculpt.
    cheers

I’ve sent many email to DES as it looks to be available per the website. I haven’t heard anything back.
Please let me know (any of you reading this) if you get a reply and can order.

    Thank you,
    Steve

Glad I stumbled across this thread. Your work blows me away John - I think Sgt. Rock is my all time favorite miniature hands down!
Looking forward to seeing your stuff at MFCA in May. Hope you can make it to the pre-game activities at my place.

Great work on the figs so far, John. But, it's no only your figure work that inspries me, it's that incredible ground work that is impressive. Sure would be pretty cool to see some pics of the ground work in progress.

    Cheers, Ski.

Thanks guys . As far as painting I always want to establish the head first, which will set the character and tone for the whole piece. Anyway million ways to do it that's just mine.

Thanks Steve I will try to remember to get in process shots of the base/groundwork

I finished up my diorama which is a tribute to the old Shep Paine diorama with the Grant and Pzkw IV in the desert....The Sherman M4A1 was built and detailed with help from great input from Leife Hulbert, Al Bowie , Make Starmer, and many others. Thank you all ! The ammo box btw has been changed to Service Brown in color thanks Ian. The figures are conversions on Evolution Desert Rats with my heads arms etc.,etc. and had to throw in the old Roger Saunders classic I've been saving for years.
9th Lancers Sherman is the 1/35 Tasca/Asuka kit with a lots of details changed up to match the famous tank....the transmission cover requiring quite a bit of work. The abandon Pzkw. III Auf.J is a 1/35 Dragon kit with the old Verlinden interior and scratch built details that you can't see but oh well, I know their there. This will be part of a book
