    Nice subject, good pose BUT the hands look terrible and your box-art painter really needs to tone down the whites of the eyes because they are much too white & piercing (not the first time he's done this).

    Plus 1 to what Steve said and my eyes were drawn immediately to the right hand and what looks like a huge shapeless thumb. I appreciate getting hands and fingers 'right' is one of the greatest challenges for sculptors, but those here completely detract from an otherwise nice subject and overall pose.

    Hi Steve, thanks for the advice.
    As for the sculpture, it can fit, it's a REVIVAL piece that we reprinted from a good 25 years ago.
    For the painting we do not allow ourselves to comment or discuss the painter, because it is his interpretation. Marino Di Roberto is an emblazoned painter and winner of international awards such as the best of shows in Boston. As always, painting is interpretative.;)
