Wrapped up these beauties this weekend. Sculpts by the master, Jeff Yagher, and released Mark Warthling's Pestilence labs. These are beefy 1/4 scale busts.I'm really looking forward to the rest of this series. I played with photoshop to create some black and white versions, but I should get another set to try painting in greyscale.
Finished in Scalecolor acrylics, airbrush and brush. I think I'm still an oils guy at heart, but I really want to add acrylics to my arsenal of techniques.
Young Frankenstein is still hilarious after dozens of viewings. You can hear the lines in your head: "We've all of us got to behave perfectly normally!" "Don't inhale until the tip glows."

Wow, working with colored shadows must have been a trip into the sublime, excellent. It would take me a bit to get my head around that concept and make it look worth a hoot.
