The new one also looks a bit scared as opposed to the heroic appearance of the previous ones.

I like Paratroopers and have many. This one is well sculpted and painted as usual, but the floating hands/lack of shoulders and arms would keep me from ever considering it.

Loving the artwork and the realistic face is a welcome change, but not a fan of the composition...original perhaps, but to me the aesthetics are off.

It's a great sculpt but in desperate need of arms & shoulders,

Wow, that is a different look. Looking at it head on is a wow.

I love everything about this except no arms,I’ve never understood why certain sculptors do this,I would love to paint this, and will sculpt the arms to it

These sculptors are masters of their craft but sometimes artistic licence can be stretched a little too far - this needs arms.

This one is a good addition to an already magnificent body of work. It does have a place. Yes, this bloke looks scared. Sometimes you have to see things in real life as opposed to on a flat 2D monitor. I bet it'll look better in the flesh.

Well, the consensus is in, he needs shoulders and arms!

Incredible sculpt, but not for me without shoulders. I would prefer the entire figure, but that's just me.

I just don't understand why Young won't delve into other periods. Is either WW II, Romans & Greeks make up the overwhelming majority of their busts. How about ACW, Revolutionary War, Crimea....

maybe he is making what he sells best an nice SS always is an seller while an acw is not...even if i like the figures from this conflict
+but SS is something anyone seems to love

He has the same incredulous expression as Kelly had when he saw Oddball's Shermans. Nice sculpt and gorgeous painting but some parts do appear to have fallen out of the box in transit. ;)
