...also, the sun shade/neck curtain was tied to the outside of the helmet, with fabric tapes, rather than being worn under it(y)

Yeah I've only seen one pic on the internet with the neck flap underneath the helmet, all the others are as you say on the outside of the helmet, I'm going to have a look and see what I can do about it.
    Thanks Steve

It looks infinitely better, Jim. I could be Mr Picky and highlight some other areas in need of modification, but I think that captures the essence...!!(y)

Ok - the compartments on the bandolier arent quite right. For the Martini ammo, there were four large compartments, two front and two rear and two half size ones where it is at its lowest point (see pic). There is also no discernable gap between each compartment.

During the Sudan campaign, the pouch on the belt could be the newer pattern, or, more likely, the same as the ones worn in the Zulu campaign (this is because the Camel Corps was equipped with old issue cavalry and infantry equipment)

Hope this helps. Not trying to be a know-all, just one of my areas of interest!!(y)

Late update on alterations to Camel Corps Grenadier Guard, The bandolier has been completely removed and re-sculpted to be correct for the period, also the ammo pouch on the belt has been removed and re-sculpted to be in keeping for the period.
A few more photos to come,
Thanks Steve for your very useful input on this one, if you can see any other things that need to be changed then let us know mate(y) A 1.jpg A 2.jpg A 3.jpg A 4.jpg
