Metallic bronze

    Hi guys, do you know a good metallic bronze for ancient armor and helmets?
    Of course I will try to mix from gold with inks, but if there is ready to use color out there, will be glad to hear :)

    I've used the Vallejo bronze before now as well as the Darkstar bronze which is similar. Latterly I mix my own using gold & very dark blue as a starting point since I think it needs a slight greenish tinge to make it different from other metals to look like bronze (Admittedly polished up and glowing there is very little difference to see IMO) Washes of brown or very dark green can push it in a different direction. Here are a few examples of mine

    I just found that Vallejo game air Bright Bronze is available here, will try this and report :)

    As bronze is an alloy of copper and tin and other minerals, Id go towards copper rather than gold.......(y)

    Buy some Vallejo metal color gold and copper and adjust by varying the ratio between the two bottles
