Hi All,
I managed to get to the White Rose today empty handed but certainly was not the case on the return journey.
A big thank you to all the White Rose staff who put on another wonderful show, it's one of my highlights of the year. All the traders who supported the event and the Chuckle Brothers for a very amusing auction (you know who you are) that raised a lot of cash for thier funds. Absolutely brilliant.

Great buffet laid on all day long with lashings of tea and coffee, what more could you want on a cold wet winters day. Some photo's I hear you cry, well apologies for my photography, some great stuff on the tables enjoy.

Blimey Richie - there's some talent on display there for sure. Some I recognise from Telford last month. I'm guessing the format is that each modeller has his/her own display space. Seriously impressive. Definitely gonna make next June

Hi Phil,
Yes each modeller who wants to display their work gets a numbered space, they then tag each individual model alphabetically for the judging. The judges are everyone who attends the show..we all get to vote, you go around and pick your personal favourites for each category. The White Rose lads then collate these and the winners are announced and presented with thier medals.

Honestly if you can ever make to their Christmas bash I guarantee it will be one of the best shows you ever go to. The warmth, hospitality and friendliness come as standard. The superb modellers and depth of talent comes from all over, everyone welcome and I guarantee you, you will have more laughs at this show than any other.
