He depicts a Lifguard in dismounted order, present day, the bust fits with our existing 5 guards regiment busts.

Very nice. I love David Grieve's work.
Is this a one piece casting or do the chinstrap and helmet or peak come separate for ease of painting?

Marvellous to see David back creating beautiful sculpts....he certainly hasn't lost his touch! Perhaps he will do some more in the future......

Fantastic to see some new stuff from David Grieve. I have always been a big fan of his work and it was always a treat to see his new releases at Euro Militaire back in the day!

This Trooper looks like he’s been in a bit and would look good with a couple of service medals on his chest.

Quite superb - just needs some arms and legs!

This piece came around as over the last year, with thanks to Chez, we have been doing individual bespoke pieces for some 60 guardsman.
Then being invited a honoury members of the Household Division, the Lifeguards and Blues asked for a piece, which David kindly agreed to do for me.
The troopers are happy, the Blues is now being done by David, I just wanted to offer also as a kit to modellers.
If the guys that wear it are ok, I am.
I will post the blues up when ready and I can always offer the sheet of medals I do for the lads if you ask, no charge

The Blues can sneeze, that is why you need to know the history of a regiment

Not being picky but that would be Life Guards.

By the way this would also paint up as Farrier. Blue tunic, black plume.

Very nice new release. Very excited to see something new from David Grieve (still one of my favourite sculptors). I like Martin's idea of painting him as a Farrier as well.
