First off, apologies for the poor photography. When not buying Napoleonic or Samurai subjects I have been known to have my head turned by the "laidees".
Also being a lover of Victorian art, I was more than tempted to "take a peek" at lady Godiva.

Great service, postage was only 9 Euros, and I only had to wait six days for her to arrive.

The casting on this kit is superb, with only the most minor of casting blocks evident.
The detailing is smooth, soft but distinct, and in a dark grey resin. The scale is quoted as 80mm but that hardly matters unless you want to create a diorama around her.
You also get a full colour postcard of the original artwork.

I was impressed that, although the horse drapery was not scribed, and therefore easy for a novice to maybe incorporate decals (Blasphemy!), the detail on the edges, reins and particularly the saddlery, is raised, exceptionally well detailed and crisp - It should be a joy to paint, I imagine.

A lot of thought has gone into the design of this figure. Male and female joints are provided to make attaching the head and saddle easy and two lengths of real chain are provided for the halter. In fact the horse and saddle could easily be utilized for other projects without even using her ladyship .... but why would you?
The kit is a limited edition but mine was 185 out of 350 - so I suggest you go ahead and buy PDQ.
    Highly recommended, - a beautiful figure - oo-er Mrs!

By the way I recently heard that in Godiva's time, a lady may have been considered naked by merely not wearing her headdress and jewelry, and that the Lady, if she did the ride at all, might have been fully dressed - but where's the fun in that? I may be a rivet counter - hence the name - but that goes too far for historic accuracy if you ask me.
    Thanks for listening

Thanks Billy', nice to know the review had a positive result. I too had thought the figure had been out of production. I don't know how being made available again works with the piece being quoted as ltd edition of 350. I only stumbled across it being available again, by chance, when looking for another figure.

    Hello,
I'm glad you like the mini :)
here is a photo of the assembled model with a 35mm scale miniature for comparison.
There are no arnachement chains but they are provided. In fact I decided that they would not be molded in resin for a question of fragility. I preferred to provide chain of miniaturist (in two sizes).

For the question of the stock. The figurine is limited to 350 copies but as I am a small organization, I do not have the funds to order the 350 copies from my caster in one go. I am ordering little by little.
