The boxart was done by the 3D sculptor using a computer.

I have to say that I found this...well...a little disappointing. Being an expresso
man in a world of cafe latte doesn't help of course, but the notion of painting
on a computer and using whatever algorithms instead of a brush and pigments
seems almost like cheating somehow. I daresay a great deal of talent is needed
    - different sets of skills from the conventionl ones - but it doesn't seem like art
as I know it. Perhaps someone versed in this digital stuff can put me right.

Saw this first hand at Reading; too expensive for me I'm afraid.

This digital thing is all mystical stuff Gordon and I agree about
the reference. I realise of course that the figure is not actually
'painted' here , and it's more a coloured render. Perhaps it's just
a straightforward commercial decision where it's less expensive
than commissioning box art from a hot shot artist.

Same with me Mike. The computer generated image was sent by the 3D sculptor with the digital files, clever stuff.

I didn't have the 120mm model at Reading but did have the 75mm version.
