    You have made a lovely job on both pieces , the design on the shield looks great ...freehand ?

    Like the patterning on the persian's clothing

    My money is on the hoplite though to win !!!

    Why not enter a piece into the class of your choice in our SEPTEMBER's FOTM comp and also vote in AUGUST's classes as well

    ....And enter in Vignettes & Diorama #3 running till 31/01/22

    Always good to see the artwork

    No it is not freehand; at least not totally. It is transparent decal, printed in my home inkjet printer. After the initial schetch, I added colour and weathering details.
