    Hi Daniel

As always your dedication to research shows on these little gems ...but the Colonels wishes were for sure accepted on many matters ...not less on his drummers

Nice start on the young faces , look forward to seeing how the uniform progresses

    Enjoy

    Happy benchtime

I've finished one of the drumers, the other chap is 90% done.
I've painted the Diesbach coats of arms and flags as per Osprey reference. 20210824_102705.jpg 20210824_102731.jpg unnamed.png

I so like thease and your base Superb, I have been pulling my hair out trying to get the correct dio supplies for mine - in the end I have gone for those make yourself hedge kits and some A4 senery cards where its grass already stuck to a backing and a good few trees.

Don't get me started on the ground works stuff , i have been gettimg stuff from unfinished projects and some grass and dirt i had left, trying to make it less expensive and still do " The trick" , but between buying minis and price of stuff lately one have to be resourceful.
    Cheers W!

Daniel, love the current project . . . but please, for the sake of what little sanity I have remaining, PLEASE straighten the officer's spontoon! It should be a pole, not a random tree branch! :)
I like the groundwork, and the fact that you varied the elevations on your base. Looking forward to seeing this one come to completion.
    Best regards.

    Hi Daniel

Not only a great figure painter but a fine gardener as well ....that basework looks excellent the figures look really nice in position and as always the drummers live up to their reputation of being very stylish and noticeable

As always seeing your updates is a pleasure ...eye candy for me ....like the prince and especially his horse

    Happy benchtime

Lol, i have not seen that pole till you've mentioned and saw it on the picture, one down side of these figures is that poles, lances, bayonets break so easy.
I end up gluing some bayomets back and fixing some polea, i guess that one moved back fro. My original fixing.
    Cheers !

Back to my bench after two weeks !
I've got 2 officers, they are from the FIW series from Black Hussar and one is a British officer, the other a Frenchie.
I did convert the Brit getting rid of his sash, and turndown collar, rebuilt the collar and front of the coat and added the Saint Louis cross on the left side of the coat.
I decided to add this fella as an officer of the Provence Regiment in order to break all the red uniforms , this regiment was present at Rossbach and to the left of the swiss. 20210912_030218.jpg 20210912_030245.jpg 20210915_160230.jpg 20210915_160158.jpg 20210915_160141.jpg 20210915_203038.jpg

I've added both officers on their respective positions.
Worked on the flag bearers , finished both and placed them on the battlefield.
    Added a mounted colonel as well. 20210915_195748.jpg 20210915_160055.jpg 20210915_160025.jpg 20210915_160004.jpg
